The Minutes of the 19th Meeting of the Working Group on Recycling Plastics includes the following scientific topics for discussion:

Request for safety evaluation of the deSter BVBA recycling process (deSter closed loop) to produce recycled plastic for food contact uses (EFSA-Q-2020- 00231)

The additional information request letter was finalised. Once the additional information is received, the revised draft opinion will be discussed in a future WG meeting.

Request for the evaluation of the EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen recycling process (EREMA "MPR" and "basic") for direct food application (EFSA-Q-2019-00366)

The draft opinion was discussed. Additional information is needed to complete the risk assessment. Once the additional information is received, the revised draft opinion will be discussed in a future WG meeting.
