The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has issued an official announcement (Announcement No. 19/2023) regarding the inclusion of registered new chemical substances in the "China Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances" for the 1st batch, which is the 11th overall batch in 2023.

In accordance with the relevant requirements outlined in the "Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances" (Order No. 12 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment), the "Announcement on the Release of Guidelines for Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances and the Relevant Supporting Forms and Filing Instructions" (Announcement No. 51 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, 2020), and the "Announcement on the Relevant Matters of Linkage for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances" (Announcement No. 46 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, 2020), a total of 39 registered new chemical substances that meet the required criteria have been added to the "China Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances" (refer to the attached list). These substances will be managed according to the regulations for existing chemical substances, and new-use environmental management will be implemented for chemical substances that are labeled with new usage scopes.

This announcement serves to inform the public about these updates.

Attachment: 39 registered new chemical substances that meet the requirements have been included in the "China Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances".
