EU rules (Regulation 2003/2003) set the requirements fertilisers have to meet to bear the ‘EC fertiliser’ designation and be sold throughout the EU. The requirements cover both safety and minimum nutrient content.
Fertilisers authorised as ‘EC fertilisers’ are listed in Annex I to the Regulation. This initiative updates the EC fertilisers list to add a new type of innovative fertiliser.
