Japan Business Council in Europe publishes proposal on carbon nanotubes hazard evaluation

The Japan Business Council in Europe has released a paper on the approach to evaluating carbon nanotubes (CNT) as potential Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) under the REACH Regulation framework. Given the wide variety of CNT available on the market and their different properties, the paper recommends a case-by-case approach to evaluation rather than a blanket “one substance” perspective.
