The Registry of restriction intentions until outcome has been updated. The update refers to the following substance(s): Cobalt di(acetate), Cobalt carbonate, Cobalt dinitrate, Cobalt sulphate, Cobalt dichloride
Scope of the proposed restriction: "Restricting the placing on the market of certain chemicals and use of professional and industrial use of the 5 cobalt salts where adequate control cannot be demonstrated. The restriction may also be implemented by imposing operational conditions and risk management measures" (more details)
Status: The Commission shall not prepare a draft amendment to Annex XVII requiring a decision under Article 73(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 with regard to the five cobalt salts cobalt sulphate, cobalt dichloride, cobalt dinitrate, cobalt carbonate and cobalt di(acetate).
