Basel Convention | Meeting of the small intersessional working group on technical specially engineered landfill, incineration and energy recovery

he objective of the meeting is to advance the work on the development and updating of Technical Guidelines on specially engineered landfill (D5) and on incineration on land (D10) as per COP 14 decision BC-14/6. The meeting participants include representatives from lead countries (Argentina, Canada and Japan) of the SIWG on technical specially engineered landfill (D5) and incineration on land (D10) and energy recovery (R1). The outcome of the meeting will be submitted for consideration by the fifteenth meeting of Conference of the Parties of the Basel Convention.
