China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment has announced an open call for public input on the draft of national ecological and environmental standards, specifically the "Guidelines for Ecological and Environmental Technology Assessment." This move aligns with the country's commitment to implement the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Promoting the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements."

Attachments to the announcement include a list of units soliciting opinions, the draft "Ecological and Environmental Technology Assessment Guidelines," and instructions for the preparation of these guidelines.
