The REACH Committee met on 11 and 12 December 2018 in Brussels.
The meeting was chaired by Ms Cristina de Avila, Mr Bernhard Berger, Mr Michael Flueh and Mr Otto Linher. The agenda of the meeting was adopted, as amended[1].
The Committee discussed on the Amendment of REACH Annex II on Safety Data Sheets (alignment to GHS, poison centres and nanomaterials).
The Committee discussed on a Draft Commission Regulation amending Annex XIV to the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
The Committee discussed on a Draft Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) on the operation of the registration provisions of the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) after the expiry of the final registration deadline for phase-in substances on 1 June 2018.

The Committee gave a favourable opinion by qualified majority.
The Committee discussed on a Draft Commission Regulation amending Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) as regards (3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8-tridecafluorooctyl) silanetriol and TDFAs. The Committee gave a favourable opinion by unanimity.
The Committee had a preliminary discussion on the Draft Commission Regulation amending Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals ("REACH") as regards lead and its compounds in PVC.
The Committee discussed on a Draft Commission Regulation amending, for the purposes of its adaptation to technical and scientific progress, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures and correcting Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/669 ((14th ATP CLP).
