The list of goods subject to Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) in Indonesia as displayed in the corresponding section in this overview has been reviewed:
(*) herbs and food supplements
(*) saccharin, cyclamate, and preparations of alcohol-containing odour
(*) hazardous and noxious substances
(*) precursors
(*) ozone-depleting substances (ODS)
(*) non-hazardous waste
(*) alloy steel
Prohibited Imports
It is noteworthy, that in accordance with Regulation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia No. 77/2019 with regard to textiles and textile products, semi-finished materials or unfinished products may only be imported by general importers if those products are intended for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) registered with the Ministry of Industry, which can provide added value on the imported products. Please note that there may be further prohibitions concerning regional measures, e.g. products originating in designated countries.
