Basel Convention | 13 March 2024 | 1st meeting of the Small Intersessional Working Group on the technical guidelines for the environmentally sound management of used and waste pneumatic tyres

Highlights: The objective of the meeting is to prepare draft updated technical guidelines on the environmentally sound management of used and waste pneumatic tyres, as per decision BC-16/7. The meeting participants include representatives who are members of the SIWG. The outcome of the meeting will be submitted for consideration by the fourteenth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (25 to 28 June 2024, Geneva).
