The project describes Danish and foreign experiences with household collections for electronics, batteries and hazardous waste. The various schemes are compared environmentally and socio-economically.

The main conclusion of the project is that a collection scheme with a hazardous waste environment box, small electronics and batteries will result in the least amount of hazardous waste in the residual waste. The scheme gives the best result in relation to environment and social economy.
