Argentina drafts Resolution establishes the technical quality and safety requirements for construction cements

The notified draft Resolution establishes the technical quality and safety requirements for products identified as construction cements that are marketed within the territory of the Argentine Republic. Domestic manufacturers and importers shall ensure compliance with the established technical requirements through the certification of the aforementioned products, in accordance with the procedure established in the draft text. Certificates issued under Resolución ex SIyC N° 130/1992 (Resolution No. 130/1992 of the former Secretariat of Industry and Trade) - which was repealed by Resolución SC N° 319/2018 (Secretariat of Trade Resolution No. 319/2018), giving rise to this draft Resolution - will remain in effect until the end of their period of validity. Once it enters into force, the notified measure will be implemented according to the time frame set out therein.
