Albania | COVID-19 temporary export prohibitions

The EU is monitoring all the measures implemented by other countries in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a view to analyse whether they are timely-removed

Order of the Minister of Health and Social Protection No 131 of 8.3.2020 “On prohibition of export of medicines and medical equipment”,  prohibits the export of medicines and medical equipment from the Republic of Albania until a second order rescinds it. There are some exceptions: the export of medicines and medical devices can only be carried out with the special authorization of the Minister of Health and Social Protection.
