The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is inviting parties to comment on the occupational exposure limit values (OELs) proposals submitted for consultation. As part of the procedure for setting OELs, ECHA prepares a scientific report and submits it to the Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) for consideration. The ECHA report is accompanied by information provided during the consultations, which form the annex to the RAC opinion.

The consultations are aimed at allowing parties to comment on the ECHA report and support the RAC in developing an opinion on the OEL values. The deadline for commenting on the OEL report is March 28, 2023. The two substances included in the consultation are 2,3-epoxypropyl methacrylate (glycidyl methacrylate) and 2-chlorobuta-1,3-diene (Chloroprene).
