Based on the provisions of sub-paragraph 10, paragraph 1 of Article 22 of the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation, the Ministry of Health and Welfare proposes the labeling requirements for prepackaged food-grade salt products of which the added food additives containing natural radioactive substance potassium-40 so as to offer consumers the right of choice.
