Denmark | New research projects investigate optimal use and possible unintended effects of pesticides

The Environmental Protection Agency's Pesticide Research Program is an initiative under the Danish pesticide strategy. Each year, support is provided for a wide range of research projects into pesticides and their impact on our environment and health. In this round of applications, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency received applications for over DKK 36.5 million. kroner. Five projects have received funds to shed light on issues ranging from the investigation of the possible role of pesticides in triggering certain types of migraines to the use of bumble bees to deliver microbiological pesticides.
