Description

The technical requirements that must be met by manufacturers and / or importers of sun glasses are established.

The aforementioned subjects must register with the ANMAT. The registration number will identify both the manufacturer and / or importer and their products and will not require the authorization of physical plants.

The aforementioned activities must be carried out under the technical direction of a registered professional, with a tertiary or university qualification in the subject.

For the purposes of registration, the tests that validate the degree of UV declared, issued by official or private laboratories accredited by the Argentine Accreditation Organization created by Decree No. 1474/94 and its complementary regulations must be submitted.

In the case of imported products, an authenticated copy of origin tests may be submitted provided they have been performed by an accredited laboratory according to ISO 17025 by accreditation body recognized by the international laboratory accreditation bodies (ILAC, EA, APLAC, etc.) .). Accredited according to ISO 17025.

The manufacturers and / or importers that are in activity must comply with the procedures foreseen within the 180 days counted from January 21, 2019.
