SVHC and restrictions Consultations Classification and Labelling Hazardous substances

Substances that can have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment can be identified as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs). If it is determined that a substance is an SVHC, it is included in the list of substances for which consent (authorisation) must be requested.
