PFAS shop check : In these product types we found PFAS

The harmful fluorine substances, also known as PFAS , are found in many places in the environment around us. In fact, studies have shown that most rainwater in the world contains fluorides at a level that exceeds the authorities' limit values.  

But if you think that your rain-proof clothing is enough to protect you from exposure to PFAS, then perhaps you should check the clothing again - because there is a probability that it also contains fluorine substances.  

PFAS is used in a wide range of consumer products that we use on a daily basis. Forbrugerrådet Tænk has been in the shops to find products with PFAS. The store check resulted in a pile of more than 20 different items across product categories, all of which contained the problematic substances.
