The EEB is a long standing member of the existing ecodesign consultation forum. It is also a steering group member of the Coolproducts and Right to Repair campaigns. For this reason, it is in a unique position to contribute to the definition of several parts of the present Regulation. The EEB welcomes the transformation of the current Ecodesign Framework Directive into a new Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation.
