The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has unanimously approved the updated ASTM F963 Standard for Toy Safety (ASTM F963-23). According to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), toys manufactured on or after April 20, 2024, must adhere to ASTM F963-23 as the mandatory safety standard. If there are no significant adverse comments received by February 20, the standard will replace earlier versions under 16 CFR 1250.
