ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management Standard

ISO 45001 was launched worldwide on 12 March 2018. ISO 45001 is the first globally developed standard for health and safety management systems. It reflects current safety management trends and techniques and will eventually replace up to 24 national safety standards around the world, including OHSAS 18001. Designed to help organizations of all sizes and industries, the new International Standard is expected to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses around the world.

Organisations which adopt the standard will be required to have safety and health management systems which prevent injury and ill health among their workforce and throughout their supply chains.
