The European Human Biomonitoring Initiative (HBM4EU), a project which looks at our exposure to chemicals across Europe, is asking European citizens to fill in a survey on their perspectives on chemical safety and human biomonitoring.
HBM4EU is an initiative between 30 European countries, the European Environment Agency and the European Commission, which coordinates human biomonitoring in Europe to generate evidence of citizens’ exposure to chemicals and the possible health effects. The results can be used to support policy making, such as restricting chemicals in certain uses.
