On Oct. 31, 2019, Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) announced revision to Food Sanitation Act, involving criteria of 6 pesticides’ and veterinary drugs’ residue in food. They are amoxicillin, captan, dithianon, thiacloprid, propanil and bromofenofos. Check out the amendment here. The revision became effective upon its publication on Oct. 31. However, the following criteria will enter effect six months later:
