On July 17, 2018, the Office of Administrative Law approved an amendment of Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25805, Maximum Allowable Dose Level (MADL) for the chemical metam-sodium. The regulation will be effective on October 1, 2018. This regulation establishes a MADL of 290 micrograms per day for metham sodium.
