The Proposition 65 List, which catalogues substances known to the State of California to cause cancer, reproductive harm, or birth defects, has been updated to incorporate several significant additions. The new entries (and related type of toxicity) are

Anthracene, primarily used in the production of dyes and chemicals, has been linked to cancer. 2-Bromopropane [2-BP], commonly found in solvents and cleaning agents, has also been categorized as a cancer-causing agent. Additionally, Dimethyl hydrogen phosphite, used in various industrial applications, has been identified as having carcinogenic properties.
