Basel Convention | Consultative workshop on electronic approaches to the notification and movement documents

The meeting will serve as a means for Parties and for international organizations to showcase their experience in the area of automation of processes and the electronic exchange of information related to import and export movements of waste and of other items. Additionally, this meeting will also serve as a possibility for experts to discuss a list of recommendations for the consideration of Basel Convention’s Parties on this area of work. The list of recommendations may be presented for the consideration of the Conference of the Parties at its fifteenth meeting in July 2021, in Geneva, Switzerland.
