Webinar: PIC Circular under the Rotterdam Convention | Thursday, 25 June 2020

The objective of this online session (webinar) is to inform Designated National Authorities to the Rotterdam Convention, observers and other stakeholders on the PIC Circular and its structure. PIC Circular is one of the main implementation documents under the Rotterdam Convention to institutionalize the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) procedure. During the webinar, participants will be explained about the content and the structure of the PIC Circular, the operation of the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) procedure and mechanism for the exchange of information on hazardous chemicals. It is published bi-annually in June and December (12 day of the month) in English, French and Spanish.
