Canada Notifies Publication of RSS-102 Issue 6 for Radio Frequency Exposure Compliance of Radiocommunication Apparatus

The Ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada has issued a notification regarding the publication of RSS-102 Issue 6, which addresses the compliance of radiocommunication apparatus with radio frequency (RF) exposure regulations. These include RSS-102.SAR.MEAS Issue 1, RSS-102.NS.MEAS Issue 1, RSS-102.NS.SIM Issue 1, RSS-102.IPD.MEAS Issue 1, and RSS-102.IPD.SIM Issue 1, each focusing on specific measurement or simulation procedures related to RF exposure evaluation.

Stakeholders and interested parties are encouraged to review the documents and provide their comments to the designated authority, Canada's Notification Authority and Enquiry Point, within the specified timeframe. The consultation period will end on September 1, 2023, allowing ample time for feedback and input.
