The Chemicals in Products (CiP) Programme is a global initiative aimed at managing chemicals in products to ultimately reduce the risk to humans and the environment from these chemicals. Access to information on chemicals in products is a necessary condition for enabling sound management of chemicals throughout the product life cycle and supply chain.

The CiP Programme documents establish the foundation to which all stakeholders can refer and build upon. Private sector enterprises, consumers, governments and others will all find relevance in the CiP Programme's objectives, though their individual actions to achieve them will be diverse.
