Webinar | Substitution of dangerous substances in medical devices

In this webinar, we will present the main contents of the second edition of the document  Non-toxic healthcare: Alternatives to phthalates and bisphenol A in medical devices ( Healthcare without toxic substances: alternatives to phthalates and bisphenol A in medical devices ), developed by Health without Harm Europe, the Spanish version of which will be available for download at the end of the webinar.

In turn, we will have the participation of Dr. Carmen Freire, senior researcher at the Biosanitary Research Institute of Granada (ibs.GRANADA, Spain), who will present the results of her research on the effects of endocrine disruptors on health mother and child and their exposure in hospital settings.

Finally, representatives of three member hospitals of the Global Network of Green and Healthy Hospitals in Latin America will share their experiences in the substitution of dangerous chemicals.
