Industrial Chemicals

In accordance with the stipulations of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, the National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) will be replaced by the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) as of 1 July 2020. For the importation and manufacture of the above-mentioned goods, a Notification of New Industrial Chemicals as well as a Registration with NICNAS are required. The mentioned change has been reflected in the quoted documents as well as in this overview. Furthermore, the applicable processing fees have been updated.
