Performance measurement evaluations provide Canadians with information on the effectiveness of risk management actions in place for substances found to be toxic under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA 1999). The risk management, human health and environmental objectives are systematically evaluated using robust data and expert analysis.

Performance measurement evaluation reports

Performance measurement evaluation reports are available for:

(*) Bisphenol A (BPA) - ecological component

(*) Bisphenol A (BPA) - health component

(*) Lead

(*) Mercury

(*) Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs)


Upcoming substances for evaluation

Substances will be selected as set out in a performance measurement evaluation strategy. Performance evaluation reports will be made available on this page as they are completed. Substances that currently have performance evaluations underway are:
