Nanomaterials in Europe’s workplaces: what are the risks and how can they be managed?

EU-OSHA’s contribution to the European Union Observatory for Nanomaterials (EUON) ‘Nanopinion’ blog shows what the EU is doing to protect its workers and what different tools and guidance are available. With many industries serving a growing demand for manufactured nanomaterials, the need to effectively manage the potential risks in workplaces has become imperative.

The blog post is the fruit of EU-OSHA’s partnership with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) during the 2018-19 campaign Healthy Workplaces Manage Dangerous Substances. Even though the campaign is now over, the close collaboration between EU-OSHA and ECHA will continue.
