Energy efficiency and circular economy — ecodesign and energy labelling working plan 2020-2024

Ecodesign and energy labelling rules have been one of the EU’s most effective tools in promoting energy efficiency, contributing around half of the energy savings target for 2020. In addition, ecodesign rules have started to address the more efficient use of materials in designing products.

The 2020-2024 ecodesign and energy labelling working plan will set priorities for the adoption of product-specific legislation in this field.
