Executive summary - This report examines the commercial availability and current uses of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) and non-PFAS alternatives in coatings, paints and varnishes (CPVs) and was developed within the framework of the OECD/UNEP Global PFC Group.
The study considered publicly available information from worldwide sources, including those provided by members of the OECD/UNEP Global PFC Group. The information was supplemented by discussions with stakeholders and additional written contributions.
