A BAuA analysis of measurement data for industrial and professional spraying activities compared to exposure estimates provided by the risk assessment tool, ECETOC TRA for PROC 7 and PROC 11, activities suggests the model values may not be sufficiently conservative for these process categories.
As the lack of field/experimental data does not allow an evaluation of the ECETOC TRA performance in regards to dermal exposure during industrial and professional spraying, ESIG has conducted the study to generate data regarding inhalation (vapour and aerosol) and dermal exposure during PROC 7 and PROC 11 activities.
