According to the report of European Commission Rapid Alert System for dangerous non-food products, several cosmetics and toys have been banned from the European market because found to be not compliant with the REACH Regulation due to high concentrations of MIT, 21-chloro-9-fluoro-11ß,17-dihydroxy-16ß-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione 17-propionate 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one , DEHP and hydroquinone.
The brands involved include: Toys Group, Guangda, Vigor, Naturface, Farouk, Mark Adam New York, Delia Cosmetics.
