The Minutes of the 33rd Meeting of the Working Group on Enzymes include the following scientific topics for discussion:
(*) Evaluation of the food enzyme polygalacturonase from Talaromyces cellulolyticus/Talaromyces pinophilus (EFSA-2016-00528)
The WG discussed the draft opinion and needs additional information from the applicant. Once the additional information is received, the draft opinion will be discussed at a future WG meeting.
(*) Evaluation of the food enzyme cellulase from Talaromyces cellulolyticus/Talaromyces pinophilus (EFSA-2015-00370) The WG discussed the technical dossier and needs additional information from the applicant.
(*) Input data for estimating the dietary exposure to food enzymes used vegetable oil production (EFSA-2020-00168)
The WG discussed the probability of food enzyme total organic solids (FE-TOS) removal
during the extraction and purification steps involved in vegetable oil production. A callfor-data will be launched to establish the extent of FE-TOS transfer into final foods.
