Brazil | MCTI participates in webinar on international technical standards in nanotechnology

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Secretariat (SEMPI) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) participated on Friday (9), through the Department of Applied Technologies (DETAP), in the Webinar on International Technical Standards in Nanotechnology promoted by Public Ministry of Labor (MPT), broadcast on Youtube by the MPTV Channel.

The director of Applied Technologies at MCTI represented the portfolio at the opening of the online seminar and highlighted the importance of events like this for the dissemination of actions in the scientific area. On the occasion, he also referred to the role of the MCTI in the regulation of nanotechnology, with emphasis on the NANoREG and CertificaNano projects, whose objectives are to provide scientifically referenced basic knowledge to subsidize regulators and legislators in nanotechnology, as well as their dissemination in the community. .
