Enforcement 3/20: Enforcement and market surveillance plan 2020

This enforcement and market surveillance plan outlines the enforcement activities that we will prioritise during 2020. The plan describes the Swedish Chemicals Agency’s own operational enforcement role and market surveillance, it does not consider the enforcement guidance to the Swedish municipals and county boards.

The Swedish Chemicals Agency’s operational enforcement is comprised of three main areas: chemical products, pesticides and chemicals in articles. Our current priorities and a summary of the projects planned for 2020 are described under each main area. Projects are prioritised based on the perspective of long-term risk minimization and the principles of a transparent and neutral enforcement, i.e. should not affect business competition.
