Japan METI announced the revision of four JIS standards including electrical appliance standards

On April 1, Japan METI announced the revision of four JIS standards relevant to electrical appliances, with the aim of further harmonization with international standards, including:

J60335-2-5(2022) Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-5: Particular requirements for dishwashers
J60335-2-10(2022) Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-10: Particular requirements for floor treatment machines and wet scrubbing machines

The revision is effective from the date of publication, and the old standards can still be used for three years from the effective date of the revision.
