The Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has published a draft regulation on 15 February 2023, which outlines the notification conditions and sales restrictions for items that contain intentionally included per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) under Maine’s Act to Stop Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances Pollution.
