Campaign on dangerous substances featured in ECHA interview

Within the framework of the new 2018-19 Healthy Workplaces Campaign ‘Manage Dangerous Substances’, an interview to EU-OSHA’s Senior Project Manager Elke Schneider has been conducted by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

The interview covers the main features of the campaign, including its key objectives, main audience, sectoral scopes, campaign resources, in particular the e-tool on dangerous substances and a database of tools and guidance, as well as practical information on the main steps for managing dangerous substances at work. The role of REACH and CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation) in making workplaces safer is also emphasised during the interview, as well as EU-OSHA’s project OiRA (Online interactive Risk Assessment).
