EU drafts Commission Regulation regarding 2-Chloro-p-Phenylenediamine

The draft Commission Regulation aims at prohibiting the use of the substance 2-chloro-p-phenylenediamine, its sulphate and dihydrochloride salts, in hair, eyebrow and eyelash dye products, by adding it to the list of prohibited substances in Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
