Basel Convention | 5-8 November | Third meeting of the expert working group on the review of Annexes

The third meeting of the expert working group on the review of Annexes to the Basel Convention will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia, from 5 to 8 November 2019. The expert working group is expected to continue its work so as to enable the development of amendment proposals to Annex IV, entry A1180 in Annex VIII and entry B1110 in Annex IX, for presentation and discussion at the twelfth meeting of the Open-ended working group (OEWG-12). The expert working group is also expected to continue its work on the review of Annexes I and III, including consideration of whether any additional constituents or characteristics in relation to plastic waste should be added to annex I or III, respectively.
