According to EU rules on plant protection products (Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009), professional users must keep records on the products they use, with the following elements:
(*) the product’s name
(*) the time and the dose of application
(*) the area and the crop on which the product was used.
This initiative sets out how such elements must be recorded, and specifies that the records must be kept in an electronic format.
