The 14th International Iron Ore Market Seminar held in Qingdao

From June 10 to 12, 2020, the 14th International Iron Ore Market Seminar jointly held by CCCMC and Mysteel Group was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province, which was the first large-scale forum held by CCCMC after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. CCCMC Vice Chairman Liu Zhonghui delivered an opening speech and presided over the conference forum. Luo Tiejun, Vice President of China Iron and Steel Industry Association, and Zhu Junhong, chairman of Mysteel Group, delivered congratulatory and welcome speeches respectively.

The seminar had in-depth discussions on China's macroeconomic outlook, the operation of China's steel market in 2020, the improvement of iron ore price formation mechanism, and the impact of China's economic transformation and upgrading on the iron and steel industry. It also had a dialogue with overseas market participants on the production situation of overseas steel mills and mines under the current pandemic situation.
